为了提高塑料模表面耐磨性和耐蚀性,常对其进行适当的表面处理。

2.渗氮具有处理温度低(一般为550~570℃),模具变形甚微和渗层硬度高(可达1000~1200HV)等优点,因而也非常适合塑料模的表面处理。含有铬、钼、铝、钒和钛等合金元素的钢种比碳钢有更好的渗氮性能,用作塑料模时进行渗氮处理可大大提高耐磨性。
